Jenna is a woman living in long term recovery since 2008. After receiving a scholarship from Ammon, she obtained her Associates Degree in Arts and Humanities, and is planning to continue on for her Bachelors Degree in 2019. Jenna has been involved in grassroots advocacy efforts surrounding SUD and recovery since 2012, with organizations such as the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence – New Jersey (NCADD-NJ) and Young People in Recovery (YPR). As a member of YPR, she assisted with the Raymond J. Lesniak Recovery High School in creating the student mentorship program. Jenna currently works as a Supervisor for the Peer Recovery Program: Tackling Addiction Together with RWJ Barnabas Health. Jenna believes strongly in the power of advocacy and education to uplift recovery communities.
